FORMAX is a leading manufacturer of reinforcements for the marine
industry, supplying each of the UK's major boat-builders, and many other high
performance boat manufacturers throughout the world. Our market leading
range of carbon fabrics have been used in America's Cup campaigns, luxury
super yachts and high performance military vessels. These include our
ultra-lightweight carbon biaxials, as well as our large range of carbon
unidirectional tapes and fabrics.
While FORMAX produces a wide range of standard E-glass and carbon
reinforcements, it is by working closely with our customers and
understanding their specific requirements, that we are able to engineer
and produce materials that are tailored specifically for their applications
and processes - be they wet lay up or infusion, and with epoxy or
polyester / vinylester resins systems.
FORMAX offers a kit-cutting service for our boat-building
customers which is becoming increasingly popular as customers look
for ways of saving labour during the build process.
