FORMAX emerged from within an existing textile business in 1999. The directors of this business recognised that the market for composite reinforcements was developing rapidly, and founded FORMAX to provide this growing market with something special - quality, bespoke, high performance multiaxial reinforcements.
Today, FORMAX has established itself as both a world leader in the manufacture of ultra lightweight carbon reinforcements, as well as an innovative manufacturer and supplier of glass non-crimp fabrics to all sectors of the composites industry.

FORMAX's mission is to deliver bespoke, high quality reinforcement solutions for all customers and applications, be they big or small.
Starting with a detailed analysis of the clients material requirements, our in-house textile technicians and composite engineers work directly with our customers to develop, test, and optimise our reinforcements, making sure that they are fully optimized with respect to strength, stiffness and infusibility.
The range of applications is amazingly diverse - we are as comfortable developing material solutions for crash helmets as we are developing high spec, optimized infusion solutions for wind-blades.
This approach, we are proud to say, has meant that renowned companies from all over the world are working with us, including: Nolan Helmets, McLaren Automotive, Cobra Composites, Sunseeker, and Lamborghini.
