Formax has increased its production capacity with the addition of another Mayer multiaxial machine, bringing the total of new machines commissioned in 2007 to three.

The new machine has been customized for carbon production and is being installed the company's specialist carbon unit.

"We see continuing demand for our type of reinforcement products, and recognition in the marketplace that customers value the service and technical interaction that only a specialist can offer" says Oliver Wessely, the company's Managing Director.

To deal with the capacity expansion, Formax purchased an adjoining 20,000 square foot extension to their facility in June 2007.
