FORMAX announce a new carbon manufacturing unit

FORMAX, the UK-based manufacturer of multiaxial reinforcements for composites, has announced the setting up a new dedicated carbon fabric production unit.

This investment has been made to meet the needs of the market for their unique carbon spreading abilities, particularly important whilst low-K fibres are in such short supply. The company is able to spread 12K fibres down to layer weights of 75 g/m2, at the same time keeping the high level of coverage that is demanded by customers.
